Welcome to Room 4 – Amanda Signal

Kia ora,

Welcome to the home page for Rūma Whā, an awesome classroom of Year 5/6 akonga (learners). We are having a fabulous start to the year, working hard to build our classroom community. Soon we will post links to our class website, where we share learning links to support us with our learning.

Below is our Seesaw Blog, where you can see some of the learning happening in our classroom. We will share things we are learning about, as well as our final pieces of work.

If you are a parent of an akonga in Room 4, please make sure you log in to your child's Seesaw journal to see even more of your child's learning.

Our whakatauki for this term is: "Ma te huruhuru ka rere te manu" In English this means: "Adorn the bird with feathers, so it can fly". This is our term to build our community and the tools we will use for our learning this year, so that we can fly!

I look forward to learning alongside all of the akonga in Rūma Whā this year!

Ngā mihi nui,

Amanda - [email protected]
