Summerland Primary is committed to ensuring that as the school grows wemaintain the high standards and goals that were intended onopening day. We are very committed to ensuring that all newstudents to Summerland are made to feel welcome and that they areinducted quickly into our growing family. For the sustainedsuccess of any school it is essential that families becomeinvolved and participate in their childrens’ learning.

Summerland is a school that embraces technology and is at the leadingedge of what is being delivered in New Zealand in the InformationTechnology area.
The key to this is that staff, students and parents alike worktogether in this exciting area and that we use computers and theirsoftware as another tool. Facing up to challenges and change, andworking creatively is our goal.
