Huia Pod Day

Our Huia pod day kicked off to a great start with the senior children organising some awesome fitness activities for the whole pod. We rotated around them and played with different children. The senior kids helped out the juniors a lot by showing them how to do the activities, they were great leaders!

We then went and had a book treasure hunt in the library. In each group there was a junior, middle and senior student. We all worked so well together!

After morning tea we did some awesome sports team activities outside in the lovely weather.

Next we had a picnic with some special guests - our favourite soft toys!! We introduced them to the children from the other classes and ate our lunch together.

In the afternoon we got split into different classes to do fun art activities.

It was an awesome day getting to know the other children in our pod!
