To celebrate Maori Language week the Anawhata Pod did a Maori themed Discovery Time. All the classes from Yr1 to Yr 6 took part with making Pureahua, using the rakau, creating flax flowers and reading a play written in both Maori and Pakeha.
Our focus was PERSEVERING - we all had to keep going and not give up!
