To show school activities and children’s work on a regular basis
To inform the school of upcoming events and activities
To stimulate appreciation and interest in what others are doing and inspire to achieve greater standards
Fortnightly showing
All episodes are included on an end of year DVD
Added benefits –
The spstv crew become experts in using ict to inform. This includes improving skills in videoing techniques, interviewing skills when interviewing a variety of people in and out of the school, editing and creating techniques using iMovie and other software.
Crew develop ability to view from others points of view, angles of interest, creative language and communication skills. Ability to work within a team, ability to work within a timeframe, ability to support and train others.

Where are we heading –
1.    To become a live weekly television show
2.    To have all classes involved in filming, camerawork and creating on a LIVE basis
3.    To have script writers, tele-prompters, camera crew etc just like a real TV station
4.    To add more competitions and house points for emailed winning answers – including some general knowledge questions
5.    To include more notices and news items for school and the wider community
