Symmetry in Maths

We have been learning about symmetry in maths.

Over the last few days, we have been doing lots of different activities that explore the idea of symmetry.

We made patterns using shapes, cuisinaire rods and peg boards, created symmetrical snowflakes and painted symmetrical pictures.

What a lovely school.Such happy active children.Thank you for being the dedicated teachers you are and making these childrens lives happy,especially my grandson Gabriel Thirlkell who just loves going to Summerland and has come on in leaps and bounds since starting there last year.Thank you again, you are great people.
