Room 13 & 17 Supergroup Videos

Miss Edwards and Miss Davies crazy idea!

In Room 17 & 13 we have decided to make music videos.  A song has been chosen it is "You Gotta Know to Understand" by Supergroove.  It is a funky song that gets us grooving!

We are going to get into groups of 8 and produce a video to this song.  We will be learning how to use a video camera, how to use iMovie and looking at different shots and angles to make our video more exciting.

Week One - we were put into groups of 4.  Then we were given the lyrics and a chance to brainstorm all our ideas for our music video.  This part was fun - we thought up every crazy idea we could and wrote it down on paper.  Everyone had a chance to put down their ideas and there was a lot of fun and laughter happening along the way.

Week Two - After listening to the song again we had a chance to learning how to sing the different parts of it.  We then were put into our SUPERGROUP of 8.  Now we got together to start planning how our video would look.  We learnt all about storyboarding and started to look at different kinds of shots we could do with our cameras.  The ideas started to flow and the compromises about our ideas began.  Great discussions were had by all.
