Wow we have done so much learning that we had to make another page...
Week Three - In the first block we learnt about how to use a video camera and the different angles we can use to make our video interesting and exciting. We then finished off our storyboards and it was on to begin our filming. We had sorted out our costumes and we were off.
Week Four - The filming continues. There are lots of creative ideas starting to emerge as the different groups are telling their own stories. As you walk around the school you can hear phrases like "use an over the shoulder shot", "let's make this one a worms eye view" - this is such a great activity. We are having lots of fun!
Week Five - Still filming! A lot of the groups are really getting in to this whole music video process. Some groups have started to download their footage and sort out what they don't need, what they still have to do and what shots they have to do again. They are realising that this might take longer than they thought. Lights, camera, ACTION!
Week Six - The beginning of Term 2 brings the final filming session for each of the groups. Refreshed ideas are flowing and lots of action is being filmed. Miss Davies and Miss Edwards car's have also been seen in a number of different groups videos. No driving for the kids though. We are now approaching the nuts and bolts of the video - editing! This can often be a long and accurate process - can't wait!
